“ i’ve gone here several times and it’s never failed to disappoint. my baby brother loves the train that rides around the entire lobby and my boyfriend claims it was the best pizza he’s ever had. it was very clean and the staff was extremely friendly. we were greeted by what i assume was the owner who encouraged us to try new items on the menu, and even came over to our table to ensure everything came out already. great place lovely customer service. ”

“ I am from Hershey and every time I come to Scranton, Pizza By Papas is a Must stop. The food is all excellent, the staff is wonderful and the vibe is fantastic. We were there today and had the tuna sandwich, and it gets better every time. My husband loves the Pizza, my kids eat with pleaser the chicken and fries. The food is very good, high quality and the location is fantastic. We did sit outside and enjoyed the city views. We had the Cassata desert and would encourage everyone to go and try this restaurant as it will not disappoint. A Must in Scranton!! ”

First impressions were great: the restaurant was spotless, with not a single crumb on the tables, which immediately stood out to us. We ordered the margarita pizza and a cheesesteak grinder, and both were excellent. The margarita pizza was delicious, and I especially loved the crust on the deep dish—it was perfectly cooked and flavorful. But the real star of the meal was the cheesesteak grinder—probably one of the best I’ve ever had, and as true foodies, we’ve tried quite a few! The owner (at least I assume it was him) came over during our meal to check in and see how everything was going. You could tell he’s incredibly passionate about his business and genuinely excited about his menu. He was attentive and made the experience feel personal, which we really appreciated. All in all, it was a great lunch. We wish we lived closer than an hour away, but who knows—we might just make the trip again because it was that good! “ We love Pappas Pizza!!! The owners are super nice and create an incredible family atmosphere. Our son absolutely loves going to see the train and we all love the pizza. Their Neapolitan pizza is SO GOOD, and we also love the Pepperoni. They also have ridiculously good cannolis. They were super accommodating for our son’s birthday and made his 2nd birthday so special for him and the family. We started to go here regularly and can’t wait to go again soon!
